The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIS) defines Supports Coordination as:

A capacity building support to implement all supports in a participant’s plan including informal, mainstream, community and funded supports. Support coordinators work creatively and resourcefully with participants in how they utilize their support budgets to achieve their goals.

A plan management service, manages all financial and adminsitrative processes associated with a participants NDIS plan.

Supports Coordination and Plan Management

Support coordination and plan management are extra supports funded by the NDIS. This funding will assist you to implement your plan successfully. The NDIS funds these services to reduce the workload and stress associated with plan implementation and service management. The NDIS knows that participants with support coordination in their plan have much better outcomes and better plan implementation.
